Mineral extender and filler comprising calcium magnesium silicate with crystalline and lamellar features. Partial replacement for titanium dioxide.
Lubestine is used in paint and ink formulations. The particulate composition of the Lubestine produces an extender that can improve film integrity and strength. The colour and opacifying capabilities of the product lend itself to act as a partial replacement for titanium dioxide.
Lubestine was originally developed as a replacement for asbestos.
